Titles with this ** before them, are books that I re-read.
Titles with # before them, are books that I read out loud to my little siblings.

80AD: The Jewel of Asgard by Aiki Flintheart
This series (I have only read 1 & 2) are a lot of fun!
80AD: Hammer of Thor by Aiki Flintheart
** The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare
I dearly love this story.
Georgina's Service Stars by Annie F. Johnston
Georgina of the Rainbows by Annie F. Johnston
# ** Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C. S. Lewis
Mel actually read this out loud and I listened.
Ain't We Got Fun by Emily Chapman & Emily Ann Putzke
This story was so much fun!
Sufficient Grace by Jessica Greyson
And amazing story with lots of truth.
Cousin Kate by Georgette Heyer
I didn't like this one as much as I like most of her books. It was rather odd. But I did really like the hero and that does have a bit to do with the fact that his name is Philip and I have a bit of a thing for guys named Philip.
Battlerama! Super Tweens to the Rescue by Mary M. Hall-Rayford
I read this to preview it for my little siblings. It was interesting.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R Tolkien
Ahhhhh!! This is my own special copy! But I still don't understand why the picture of Frodo on the front is from The Two Towers. We have plenty of amazing shots of Frodo in FOTR, so why can't the picture be from there? And when I was re-reading this, I came up with a little head cannon.
So remember how, when the Company leaves Lothlorien, Sam is talking with an Elf about the Elven rope and the Elf says that if they had known that Sam liked rope making, they could have shown him how they made it? Well, what if when Sam got to Elvenhome, that Elf was one who had survived the battles and sailed and remembered Sam and his love for rope making so then taught it to him.
Witch of Blackbird Pond is one of my favorites!!!! What are those books by Annie Johnston about? And why was Cousin Kate weird?
ReplyDeleteYep! Thanks for giving it to me!! They are about a girl on the east coast form the time she is 10 to 19. It was Georgette Heyer's attempt at a Gothic novel and Goth SOOOOOO isn't my style!
